Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Sunday announced that the franchise will refund the money for the abandoned match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The match was called off due to persistent rain.
"As the game between RCB and KKR on 17th May 2025 was abandoned due to inclement weather, all valid ticket holders are eligible for a full refund," RCB said in a statement.
"Digital ticket holders will receive their refunds within 10 working days to the original account used to book the tickets. In case you do not receive the refund by 31st May, kindly send an email to
[email protected] with your booking details to escalate the matter.

"Physical ticket holders are required to surrender their original ticket to the respective official source from where it was purchased in order to claim the refund.
"Refunds are not applicable for complimentary tickets.

RCB now have 17 points from 12 matches, and a win in either of their remaining two games will be enough for them to seal a berth in the playoffs.

Currently, they are the table-toppers, ahead of Gujarat Titans (16 points).

Meanwhile, KKR's stuttering campaign in this IPL season came to an end with the washout.
KKR now have 11 points from 13 matches, and it is impossible for them to qualify for the knockouts even if they win their final league game against Hyderabad to take their tally to 13 points.
